Honey Bee Mine is our Number 1 selling soap bar. We introduced our first Honey Bee Mine bars in late summer or early fall a few years ago. Along came the holiday shopping frenzy season and we weren't able to keep Honey Be Mine on the shelf.
I assumed people were buying it as gifts because it was 'neutral'. By 'neutral' I mean that the honeycomb textured surface adds interest, but the bar is still wholesome and 'rustic' like Uncle Joe or Aunt Madge might expect top shelf handmade soap to look.
And, it is a scientifically proven fact (in my mind, at least) that if soap smells good enough to want to eat it -- then, it should certainly be dunked in water and rubbed over every inch of skin from chin to baby toes.
But the following January, February and March months proved that Honey Bee Mine sales weren't just a seasonal fluke --- when Uncle Joe and Aunt Madge used up their gift bar and wanted another half dozen bars NOW!
